Bridgestone Potenza Sport-shod Audi R8 tested by tyre dealers at Mondello

Bridgestone Ireland recently gave an opportunity to a select group of performance tyre dealers to test its Potenza Sport performance tyre at Mondello Race Track, driving the circuit’s 415bhp Audi R8s.

Also included was an opportunity to drive and test Firestone’s Firehawk Sport at the County Kildare circuit. During the visit to Mondello, the group received a brand and product presentation from Jackie Wherity and Colm Conyngham of Bridgestone Ireland, and a visit to the Mondello museum containing the Birrane Collection of classic racing cars.

Bridgestone is the official tyre supplier to Mondello’s driving experiences and its test drivers were on hand to give their feedback on the tyre’s performance.

In recent years, Mondello has run Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres on a range of BMW M Competition cars, Audi R8s, VW Golf GTis, and classic Ferraris and Porsches.

Bridgestone also has a large Bridgestone Potenza Sport sign displayed at the circuit for all events, promoting the tyre to the many car enthusiasts that visit the circuit during the year.

Bridgestone hopes to bring more tyre retailers to Mondello to drive on the performance tyres in the near future.
