Bridgestone launches Bandag FuelTech retread

Bridgestone has unveiled a new retread tyre, the Bandag FuelTech.

Using advanced tread compounds and innovative tread design, Bandag FuelTech retreads deliver improved fuel efficiency, Bridgestone states.

The Bandag B760 FuelTech is designed for tandem axle tractors in truckload and less-than-truckload applications, the tiremaker said. The tread features optimized groove width, highly-siped tread design, tie bars and multiple gripping edges.
According to Bridgestone, the product is said to balance tread life, traction and fuel efficiency and is EPA SmartWay verified and CARB compliant.

The Bandag B760 is available in four tread sizes from 210 mm through 240 mm in the U.S. and Canada and accommodates almost all standard-width casing sizes.
