Bridgestone and Banks Tyres check tyres at Monkstown Golf Club

Bridgestone Ireland and Banks Tyres, Cork recently carried out tyre safety checks at Monkstown Golf Club, in addition to sponsoring an annual club tournament at the Club.

Over 100 vehicles were checked for tread depth and tyre condition with a report placed on each vehicle.

“It’s a really good way to check tyres as golfers are leaving their cars for a number of hours,” said Dave Banks of Banks Tyres. “It was very much appreciated by those playing in the tournament and we hope we have made a few more cars safer on the road,” he added.

Bridgestone Ireland said the safety check is part of an annual campaign checking tyres at golf clubs in conjunction with Bridgestone dealers and Golf Ireland.
