BKT Europe appoints de Koning head of OEM

Henrik de Koning has been appointed as head of OEM Europe and key account at BKT Europe, as the company aims to strengthen its presence in the OE market.

Reporting to Lucia Salmaso, managing director of BKT Europe, de Koning brings over 25 years of experience in the off-highway tyre industry at major companies in the sector.

BKT said de Koning will drive the group’s expansion in the European original equipment channel.

“I am delighted to be joining BKT at this exciting stage of its journey. I am truly impressed by the path BKT has taken so far and honoured by the opportunity to contribute to its Growth Vision 2030,” said de Koning.

In his new role, BKT said de Koning will leverage its extensive product portfolio across agricultural and OTR tyres, raising awareness about the state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, supported by a global network of dedicated dealers and long-standing distribution partners.

Along with all in-house capabilities, BKT says these strengths put it in a strong position among the most relevant tyre industry players as the preferred tyre partner for OEMs.
