Bin lorries burned out in arson attack

Gardaí are investigating what appears to have been an arson attack on nine bin lorries that were parked close to the premises of a well known, Dublin tyre retailer.

The nine lorries, owned by the City Bin Company were parked in a yard adjacent to the Tyre Master premises at Greenhills Road in Walkinstown, Dublin.

Six of the lorries were burned out, one was seriously damaged and two others were damaged to a lesser extent in the fire which took place late on Friday night.

The Tyre Master premises was not affected by the blaze.
