Ayvens Ireland appoints new country managing director

Ayvens Ireland, formerly LeasePlan, has appointed Kevin Harty as its new country managing director, effective 1st December 2025.

Harty, currently commercial director, succeeds Sharon O’Buachalla, who retires from Ayvens Ireland after nearly four decades with the company.

The transition will take place over the coming months, with O’Buachalla supporting Harty until her retirement in December.

O’Buachalla joined the business in 1989 and went on to lead its transformation from LeasePlan to Ayvens. She established the company as one of the strongest names in Ireland’s leasing and fleet management market.

Kevin Harty, incoming country managing director, said: “Having worked with Sharon for many years, I am honoured to step into this role.
