Austone Tires stands out at the Nürburgring

Austone Tires, distributed in Ireland by Euro Tyre Sales, was back on the grid last weekend to continue its support of Garret Trucksport, this time at the 2025 ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring in Germany.

Austone, alongside sister brand Fortune Tires, recently partnered the British truck racing team for the next three years of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC).

At the Nürburgring, Austone used a shared booth to showcase its comprehensive range of truck tyres, as well as engaging with fleet managers, retailers, and truckers alike during the four-day event.

Austone’s German partner Marangoni, showcased its seamless RTH155 RingTread retreading process, which is based on Austone’s best-selling ATH155 truck tyre.

As sponsors of Garrett Trucksport, Austone also provided VIP guests with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and front-row views of the racing action. Despite some initial technical challenges, driver Luke Garrett delivered strong performances in the adrenaline-filled races.

Ari Salah, head of marketing, said: “We were thrilled to welcome guests not only from Germany, but also from the UK, Lithuania, Poland, and beyond. Events like this bring us closer to our partners and set a powerful tone for the year ahead. I’m already looking forward to the upcoming race stops!”

Adrian Costache, the new commercial director for Austone in Europe, remarked: “I’m very pleased that we were able to offer our VIP guests an extraordinary experience with plenty of surprises both on and off the track. This included high-speed laps with Luke Garrett in the race taxi after the Truck Grand Prix.”

The next round of the European Truck Racing Championship will take place on 30th–31st August in Most, Czech Republic.
