VF technology is at the core of the Agriflex+ range, enabling tyres to carry significantly higher loads at lower inflation pressures compared to standard radial tyres. This delivers a powerful combination of improved efficiency, reduced soil compaction and enhanced overall performance in the field.

Alliance’s VF tyres can carry the same load as a conventional radial tyre at up to 40 per cent lower pressure, or alternatively handle heavier loads at the same pressure. This increased flexibility results in a larger footprint, which distributes weight more evenly and protects soil structure, a critical factor for maintaining long-term crop yields.

Lower operating pressures also contribute to improved traction and reduced wheel slip, helping farmers to optimise fuel efficiency and productivity. At the same time, operators benefit from greater ride comfort both in the field and on the road.

The performance advantages of VF technology have been validated through independent research. A scientific field study conducted by SEGES Innovation in Denmark demonstrated clear benefits over conventional tyres. Results showed reduced track depth, lower soil compaction down to 40cm, and a 4.4 per cent reduction in wheel slip.

Crucially, these improvements translated into higher crop performance, with maize yields increasing by approximately 10 per cent in VF tyre tracks. Overall, this equated to yield gains of up to 2.2 per cent per hectare and potential profit increases of nearly €80 per hectare, depending on application.
