SDC Trailers brings Arisun truck tyre brand to Ireland

SDC Truck & Trailer Parts has introduced ZC Rubber’s Arisun truck tyre brand into the Irish market, becoming the exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland.

Making its local debut at the recent Road Transport Expo in Northern Ireland, the Arisun truck and bus radial range on show included the AceTrac+ AD723 drive tyre, developed for traction and durability in regional and long-haul applications, and the AceWay AZ651 steer tyre, designed to deliver high mileage, even wear, and fuel-efficient performance in fleet operations.

Gavin Diamond, commercial parts director at SDC, said: “SDC Parts are delighted to officially launch Arisun Tyres. We look forward to increasing our aftermarket sales and coverage of the brand in the UK and Ireland. With dedicated support from ZC Rubber and our aftermarket sales teams, we look forward to bringing the brand to the aftermarket.”

Following the event, the leading trailer manufacturer and parts supplier reported positive early market response from fleets.

John Quinn, parts manager at SDC, said: “After demonstrating Arisun tyres at the RTX show recently, the feedback from our customers has been extremely positive, including the samples we currently have on trial with some fleets.

“Given that we now have a full range to provide to large sectors of the fleet market here, we are confident of continuing growth and, along with the support of ZC Rubber, can see this being a game changer for the sector.”

With its first appearance in Northern Ireland and positive initial market feedback, ZC Rubber said Arisun is now positioned to build its presence in the region, supported by SDC’s established network and ZC Rubber’s growing TBR portfolio.

SDC Truck & Trailer Parts will be exhibiting at the 2026 CV Workshop EXPO, which takes place alongside the Auto Trade EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
