Enniscorthy tyre dealer suffers severe flood damage
Tyreworld, a prominent tyre dealer based in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, has suffered severe flood damage following storm Chandra.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, proprietor Ronan Furlong said his premises has been “completely destroyed”, and estimates a repair bill of between €70,000 and €80,000.

“There’s about three feet of water at the minute and a lot of damage done,” he told the outlet, adding that a lot of stock has been damaged.
“This is the worst flooding we’ve had since the year 2000,” he said. “We managed to move some of the computers but tyre machines and new pumps will have to be replaced. It’ll be at least €70,000-€80,000, and that’s before you even look at loss of earnings or anything.”
