Apollo Tyres appoints Iyer chief supply chain officer

Apollo Tyres has appointed Parmeshwaran Iyer as chief supply chain officer to lead the global supply chain team.

According to the company, Iyer will “strategically develop and optimise the global supply chain operations, aligning demand forecasting, production planning, logistics management, and stakeholder coordination with overarching business objectives”.

Iyer joins Apollo Tyres from Beiersdorf AG, having worked across Germany, UAE, Russia and India. Prior to this, he has worked with Johnson and Johnson, Total Energies India and Daikin Airconditioning.

“In addition to the digitalisation of supply chain, I would also be focusing on the increased usage of environmentally responsible practices within the overall supply chain network of the organisation,” said Iyer.
