ZC Rubber produces first truck tyre in Indonesia
The first all-steel radial truck tyre has rolled off the production line at ZC Rubber’s new Indonesian subsidiary, PT. Matahari Tire Indonesia (MTI).
This milestone was celebrated with an official ceremony at the MTI factory located at the Kendal Industrial Park in Semarang, Indonesia.
MTI’s factory covers 500,000 square metres and plays a vital role in ZC Rubber’s global expansion strategy. The facility is said to be equipped with cutting-edge digital technology and staffed by a highly skilled workforce.
While still in the ramp-up phase, ZC Rubber says the production of the first truck tyre marks significant progress toward meeting growing demand for high-quality tyres in both local and international markets, including the United States.
The second phase of construction is underway at the Indonesia plant, as ZC Rubber plans to further enhance production capacity and deepen its presence in international markets.
