Zafco recently organised a 5 km Walkathon for its employees and their families Creek Park, Dubai. The core aim of the event was to create awareness and support the cause of Education in society with the theme of “E² – Education for Everyone”.

The event kicked off with the release of a flock of pigeons, to symbolise freedom and to highlight people’s ability to move forward to achieve greater goals in life.

The Zafco team all wore branded T-Shirts as they walked along the lake aided by a cool breeze in support of the cause. There was also kite-flying and a lucky draw with exciting prizes.

The event finished with an extravagant brunch, followed by concluding remarks by the Director of the company.

Zafco has been actively involved in CSR activities for causes like health, environment, and particularly education which have yielded numerous success stories over time. Zafco has been supporting the Smile Foundation of India for the past three years, where underprivileged children get a chance to start their education despite trying circumstances.
