TyreCall partners with Farmer Phil and Todds Leap at Balmoral Show
TyreCall, a leading provider of premium tyres, exhibited its high-performance Ascenso agricultural and industrial tyres alongside General Tire’s robust SUV and 4×4 tyres at the recent Balmoral Show in Lisburn.
The event, which is said to have attracted over 100,000 attendees, served as the perfect platform for TyreCall to showcase its cutting-edge products and industry partnerships.
For this year’s Balmoral Show, TyreCall teamed up with renowned Irish agricultural influencer, Farmer Phil, who brought his recently refurbished MF1200 tractor to the stand. The tractor was fitted with Ascenso TDR850 tyres, highlighting the strength and durability of the Ascenso brand in agricultural settings.
“We are pleased to have collaborated with Farmer Phil for this event,” said Sean Cusack, general manager at TyreCall Ireland. “The Ascenso TDR850 tyres offer the ideal performance for the demanding agricultural environment, and it was valuable to display them on such a well-maintained and iconic machine.”
In addition, TyreCall collaborated with Todds Leap, a premier adventure park in Northern Ireland. The Todds Leap team showcased their iconic Land Rover Defender 60th Anniversary SVX, fitted with General Tire AT3 tyres. The rugged AT3 tyres are known for their exceptional off-road performance, making them the ideal choice for adventure enthusiasts and off-road vehicles.
“Having the Land Rover Defender 60th Anniversary SVX on the stand allowed us to demonstrate the quality and capability of General Tire AT3 tyres,” said Derek Hill, general manager at TyreCall NI. “These tyres are designed for performance in tough off-road conditions, and this partnership with Todds Leap helped to show their versatility in a real-world environment.”
Philip Stewart (Farmer Phil), who has become a well-known figure in the agricultural community, commented on the collaboration. “It’s been a great opportunity to have my MF1200 tractor on display at the Balmoral Show with Ascenso TDR850 tyres,” he said. “I’ve found these tyres to be reliable and durable in the field, and it’s good to be able to showcase them to a wider audience.”
Ben O’Hanlon, owner of Todds Leap, noted the benefits of the General Tire AT3 tyres on their vehicles. “The General Tire AT3 tyres have proven to be well-suited for off-road conditions,” he said. “They provide a good balance of comfort and durability, making them a solid choice for the demands of our adventure park.”
In addition to these collaborations, Tim Currie, key account manager at General Tire, was present at the show to help launch the new Grabber Cross A/S tyre. This new addition to the General Tire lineup is designed to provide superior performance both on and off the road all year round, making it an excellent choice for all-terrain driving.
“We’re excited to introduce the Grabber Cross A/S at this year’s Balmoral Show,” said Currie. “It’s a versatile tyre that combines the performance needed for off-road challenges and also delivers on-road comfort and excellent handling, and we’re pleased to showcase it alongside our other high-performance tyres.”
TyreCall said the Balmoral Show continues to be a vital event for the business, allowing its team to connect with agricultural and 4×4 enthusiasts and showcase the superior quality of its products in real-world applications.
