Tyre Talk seminars to cover key business issues at Brityrex

Brityrex International has confirmed that it will once again play host to a series of Tyre Talk seminars covering key business issues affecting tyre retailers, wholesalers and fast-fit service providers.

Organised and presented in association with show sponsor the NTDA, the free seminars will cover topical subjects including the business opportunities provided by TPMS servicing and repair; an update on the EU tyre Labelling regulation; the NTDA’s campaigning work with Trading Standards on illegal part worn tyres, the environmental impact of illegal tyre dumping and disposal, and tyre ageing.

NTDA Director Stefan Hay, says: “We know that Tyre Talk was extremely popular and well supported at Brityrex in 2012. This year’s programme will build on that success by delivering sharp, focussed and informative seminars on the subjects we know will be of interest and value to the trade. We will be announcing a high quality line-up of speakers in the near future and expect even more NTDA members and tyre industry professionals to get behind this unparalleled UK event.”

Paul Farrant from show organiser Singex-ECI, adds: “We are delighted that the NTDA is taking the lead to deliver an outstanding series of Tyre Talk seminars. Getting the latest business updates on key issues will be another compelling reason for the trade to visit and get involved in the show this October.”

Entry to both the three-day show and the Tyre Talk programme is free of charge to bona fide members of the tyre and garage equipment trade. To guarantee hassle-free, no-waiting entry to Brityrex, visitors can now pre-register online at www.eci-international.com

For 35 years Brityrex has been the UK’s only dedicated tyre trade and equipment exhibition. In 2014 it will again be the focus for new products and services across the tyre and automotive aftermarket sector. While maintaining an emphasis on all aspects of the tyre industry, the show is also continuing to expand its coverage of associated and complimentary trade sectors, including workshop equipment, tools, parts, consumables and IT.
