Tyre industry wins big in Irish Auto Trade Awards

The prestigious Irish Auto Trade Awards and CV Workshop Awards made a welcome return this year, which were fiercely contested across both national and regional categories.

Presented during last weekend’s Auto Trade EXPO and CV Workshop EXPO in the RDS Dublin, the big winners in the tyre industry for 2025 were Bridgestone Ireland, winning ‘Tyre Manufacturer of the Year’, and Co Cavan-based Euro Tyre Sales, winning ‘Tyre Distributor of the Year’.

Tyrecare Ltd won the ‘Tyre Shop Tools & Equipment Supplier of the Year’ award, while Togher Tyres in Castlebar claimed the overall Tyre Retailer of the Year award, following victory in the Connacht/Ulster (Excl. Northern Ireland) category.

In the ‘CV Assistance Operator of the Year’ category, Midland Tyres, headquartered in Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois scooped the national title unopposed, which is a first at the CV Workshop Awards.

There were a further four winners in the Tyre Retailer of the Year regional awards:

Dublin: Phoenix Tyre Co.Ltd. Jones Road, Dublin 3
Leinster (Excl. Co. Dublin): McManus Tyres, Dundalk
Munster: Modern Tyres, 1, South Link Road, Cork
Northern Ireland: Gortnacarrow Tyre Service, Fermanagh
