Tailor-made wheel rims manufactured to customers’ spec

The manufacturing facility at Agrigear specialises in offering tailor-made wheels suited to customers’ unique requirements and also provides equipment manufacturers with ideal wheel configurations for their machines.

New Holland TS115 recently fitted with 600/65R38 and 540/65R24 BKT Agrimax tyres on Agrigear bespoke fixed rims made to suit customer’s specifications.

Agrigear’s product portfolio of wheels is wide and diversified; the company’s strength in technical expertise means that tailored solutions can be offered and bespoke products can be manufactured to suit individual customer requirements.

Tractor, loader, earthmover and implement wheels can be custom-made to suit the customer’s machine to improve its functionality and performance; these wheels are available with a powder-coated paint finish in a wide variety of colours.

A wheel can be altered to fit a different vehicle by machining or replacing the centre. Alternatively, by fitting the centre in a different position within the rim, the tramline of the vehicle can be altered to suit.

The manufacturing and modification services available at Agrigear include the following:

  • Standard tractor wheels with fixed or adjustable centre discs
  • Customised rims for flotation or extra-wide tyres; suitable for tractors, balers, wagons & trailers
  • Rowcrop rims manufactured or modified and sprayed to a customer’s colour
  • Dual wheel systems for tractors as well as for self-propelled and combine harvesters
  • Triple wheel systems suitable for bog work
  • Loader wheels & rims; industrial loaders converted for agricultural use
  • Reinforced wheels for agricultural, forestry, construction and industrial machines
  •  Earthmover rims, 1 –piece, 3-piece and 5-piece options

Agrigear provides a wheel reconditioning service where a customer can have a set of wheels cleaned and re-painted to look as good as new. With a typical reconditioning job, the wheel is completely cleaned down to the bare metal by shot-blasting. Any damage is repaired and then given a powder-coated primer and finish coat. Reconditioning of chipped or rusted wheels makes a huge difference to the look and value of any tractor or machine.
