Snap-on wins Automechanika Innovation Award

Snap-on Equipment has won a Workshop & Service Solutions award at this week’s Automechanika Innovation Awards 2024.

The winners of the Innovation Awards were selected from a total of 153 applicants. The products and solutions were assessed by a jury of 17 international experts.

Criteria such as innovative content, economic efficiency, user-friendliness, functionality, aftermarket relevance, safety and quality as well as the contribution to environmental protection and sustainability were decisive for the decision.

Snap-On was awarded for its Tru-Point 3D positioning of ADAS calibration accessories. Using patented 3D camera measurement tech, TGT-05 enables precise placement of 360 mats around the vehicle.

BKT-16 uses the same cameras to position rear radar fixtures within manufacturer tolerances. Targets are constantly monitored during the ADAS process to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs.

Snap-on Equipment will be exhibiting at Auto Trade EXPO 2024, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO at the RDS in Dublin from 12th-13th October.
