Revel new president global OEM at BKT

BKT has appointed Ludovic Revel as president global OEM to steer the off-highway tyre manufacturer’s expansion in the Original Equipment channel.

Reporting directly to Lucia Salmaso, managing director of BKT Europe, Revel brings with him to the role nearly three decades of experience in the Off-Highway tyre market gained at world-renowned companies.

BKT describes the appointment as a “strategic choice that reflects the Indian multinational’s commitment to pursuing its ambitious business goals, starting with strengthening its growth strategy in the OEM channel for Original Equipment and consolidating BKT’s brand visibility among the major global players”.

As BKT’s president global OEM, Revel will lead a dedicated team whose members will contribute to the company’s expansion in the OEM channel, leveraging a well-defined plan that is aimed at exploring new markets, new business and development opportunities.

Commenting on his appointment, Ludovic Revel said: “I am greatly impressed by the remarkable growth path BKT has made over the years, taking the company to a worldwide leadership position in the specialty tyre industry.
