Rathcormac Tyres has been appointed as official distributors of the CEAT agri-tyres in Ireland.
Rathcormac Tyres is a well-established tyre wholesale company that is privately owned by Patrick and Mary Whelan. Based in Rathcormac, just outside Cork city, the company’s trading activities date back more 35 years.
Situated directly on the main arterial N8 road from Cork to Dublin, the site comprises a separate office building, four tyre warehouses of some 30,000 square feet, a fully modernised retail fitting centre, and a container storage area.
The company offers a full range of services including free tyre checks and 24/7 breakdown and recovery, puncture repair as well as wheel balancing and alignment.
Rathcormac Tyres has a total of 35 employees, a development that is largely due to the expertise in identifying good quality suppliers for the budget market and high-quality high spec products for the professional haulage and contractors’ market.
The service offering even includes competitive professional tyre fitting at customers’ homes or places of work for cars, 4×4s and light commercial vehicles.
To ensure quick and responsive customer care, the company has a fleet of 10 delivery vehicles. Shipments leave the distribution centre every day and follow specific routes across the country.
