Pirelli to showcase truck tyre range at Brityrex
Pirelli, which recently announced its participation in the Brityrex International tyre show how from October 7-9 in Manchester, will be bringing a wide range of its latest products for truck to the event, as well as the renowned car range.
In particular, Pirelli will be exhibiting the latest products from its next generation :01 line-up, which have been developed using the latest design techniques, as is the case for Pirelli’s Ultra High Performance road car tyres. For commercial operators, a particular emphasis has been placed on durability, fuel economy and safety.
The latest evolution of truck tyres is packed with technology such as SATT (Spiral Advanced Technology for Truck), a Hexagonal Bead Wire, Fully Rubberised Cord for belt, and a Dual Layer Tread Compound. The latest :01 tyres that will be seen at Brityrex also have a reinforced bead to offer more resistance and better retreadability compared with the previous generation of tyres.
As well as tyres, Pirelli will be demonstrating its acclaimed web-based Fleet Management System, which brings centralised invoicing, job authorisation and cost control under one roof.
Another vital tool from Pirelli, to be shown at Brityrex, is Cyber Fleet. Thanks to automatic monitoring of tyre pressures and temperatures, Cyber Fleet increases efficiency by delivering lower running costs and fewer CO2 emissions, as well as improving safety.
Pirelli UK Managing Director Dominic Sandivasci said: “At one of the most important events for the tyre industry in the UK, we’re delighted that Pirelli is at the forefront of the premium truck market with new product lines and state-of-the-art technologies. All these significant innovations are prompting some of this country’s leading fleet customers to reconsider how they equip and manage their fleets.”
Brityrex International was founded in 1979, with Pirelli traditionally playing a prominent role. The exhibition, to be held at Event City in Manchester, is the only dedicated tyre trade and equipment show in Britain, acting as a focus for new products and services across the tyre and automotive aftermarket sector. The show takes place every two years.
