Pirelli has appointed Pietro Berardi as CEO of its North American activities, effective March 1.
Berardi comes from Nissan North America, where he was vice president of aftersales.
In his new role, Pirelli says Berardi will be tasked with strengthening its command of the market and its development and executing the strategies and commercial policies best suited to consolidating Pirelli’s leadership in the premium and prestige segments, including integration of the OE and replacement channels.
Pirelli also announced that Marco Crola will become chairman for North America.
Crola has been with the tyre maker for 15 years, and was senior vice president of global OE and prestige business.
