Oak Tyres to exclusively distribute Linglong in UK and Ireland

Independent tyre wholesaler, Oak Tyres, part of Oak Group Holdings, has secured a new partnership with Chinese tyre manufacturer, Linglong Tire, to exclusively distribute its products across the UK and Ireland.

According to Oak Tyres, this new partnership and extension of its brand portfolio, is a strategic move to facilitate growth, whilst reacting to increased market demand in the value tyre category.

Linglong Tire will join Oak’s existing portfolio of exclusive and private brands, which includes Davanti, Landsail, Evergreen, Aptany, Delinte, and the new Envoy brand, as announced at The Tire Cologne in June.

Oak Tyres will be stocking Linglong’s full range of summer, winter and all-season products for the PCR series, including the Sport Master UHP, Comfort Master HP, and Green-Max Eco Touring patterns.

Peter Cross, commercial director of Oak Group Holdings said: “This partnership with Linglong is an important step for Oak. We’re focused on growing our portfolio of products and international footprint, therefore working with the well-known Chinese-based tyre manufacturer was a great fit.

“We’re looking forward to distributing Linglong’s first European-produced PCR tyres to the UK market when the Serbia operation commences full mass production status in late 2024.”
