NR Rubber Products wins Tyre Champion award

NR Rubber Products won the Tyre Champion award, sponsored by Circol ELT, at the 2024 Pakman Awards.

Based in Co Louth, NR Rubber Products were judged to have successfully repurposed 100 per cent recycled tyres into matting, recycling an estimated 600-tonnes of rubber crumb-equivalent to approximately 99,600 tyres.

Hosted by Repak, the Pakman Awards honour Ireland’s leaders in sustainability, recognising organisations, businesses, and individuals for their innovation and commitment to protecting the environment.

The 10th annual ceremony was held recently at The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin.
