Nexen Tire has expanded its sports-marketing partnership portfolio by becoming an official tyre partner of ice hockey team the New York Rangers, beginning the 2023-24 National Hockey League (NHL) season.
Through the “multi-year” partnership, Nexen Tire will receive significant brand promotion during Rangers games at Madison Square Garden in New York City, including digital dasherboard signage, virtual blue line signage and ribbon LED signage.
Nexen Tire will also receive exposure on the digital boards outside of Madison Square Garden.
Furthermore, Nexen Tire says it will work with the team for several “engaging and one-of-a-kind on and offline initiatives for the fans”.
The tyre maker will also be given inclusion across Rangers’ digital assets from Facebook to Twitter and Instagram for amplification.
The New York Rangers joins fellow United States ice hockey side the Chicago Blackhawks in being sponsored by the Korean tyre manufacturer, with Manchester City Football Club, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt also forming part of the brand’s sports-marketing partnerships.
