Nexen Tire partners with Sydney FC

Nexen Tire has announced a strategic global marketing partnership with Australian football club, Sydney FC.

With it, Nexen Tire says it aims to expand its marketing reach beyond Europe and the United States, enhancing brand recognition in the global market.

The Korean tyre maker will sponsor both the men’s and women’s teams, adding that it plans to leverage Sydney FC’s digital platforms to engage fans via social media, newsletters, and targeted advertisements

At home games, Nexen Tire will exhibit its brand logo on LED display boards including advertisements around the goalposts during broadcasts.

Nexen Tire says Australia is a strategically significant market for the company given its high vehicle ownership rates, targeting the demand for high-inch tyres used on pick-ups and SUVs. Nexen Tire established a subsidiary in Australia in 2022, and operates warehouses in key regions to expand sales.
