Yokohama recently held its Global Conference at Stamford Bridgestone, London the home of Chelsea Football Club with whom the tyre brand has partnered.

The Conference was attended by Sean Casey and Brendan Brendan, of Nex Gen Tyres, the distributors of Yokohama tyres in the Republic of Ireland.

Yokohama and Chelsea Football Club have recently signed a sponsorship agreement, that will see the tyre maker sponsor the English Premier League team for the next five years.
Yokohama says the sponsorship deal, which is costing £40 million per year, will help to improve its brand awareness and reach out to society as it continues its expansion on a global scale.
