New FIAT 500X Sports Goodyear Tyres
FIAT has selected two Goodyear tyres for the new FIAT 500X—the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyre and Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2—aligning with the Italian model’s commitment to style, performance and high quality materials.
The FIAT 500X, which was unveiled at the Paris Motorshow, is a compact crossover that completes the popular family of FIAT models. The FIAT 500X is now available to consumers in two versions—one intended as a hip, urban car for those with a metropolitan outlook and the other as a more rugged, sporty offering for active adventure-seekers. Owners can choose 12 different colours and 8 different designs to further personalize their selection.
To fulfill the range of functionalities, FIAT’s new 500X will be fitted on Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyres (Size: 215/55RI7 94V) for the urban car and an Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 (Size: 225/45R18 91Y) on the rugged, sporty version, each providing important benefits to drivers.
“We are pleased to offer tyres that not only fit the overall polish and panache of the FIAT 500X but are also customized to fulfill the car’s different driving needs. The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyre provides excellent rolling resistance performance and braking performance suitable for a city car, while the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 has a large rim size, offering exceptional braking and handling“, said Hans Vrijsen, Marketing Director Consumer EMEA.
Goodyear tyres match the car’s enhanced focus on safety and efficiency. The EfficientGrip Performance offers an A-rated wet grip and provides short braking distances and low fuel consumption, while the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 offers short braking distances on wet and dry surfaces and superb fuel efficiency.
These features are balanced by a car that boasts a Drive Mood Selector feature that offers three settings for engine, brake, steering and transmission settings to offer ultimate comfort, consumption and CO2 emissions for all scenarios, as well as eco:DriveTM, which can help reduce emissions and fuel costs by up to 16 percent.
