Michelin rewards long standing staff in Ballymena
Michelin Tyre PLC has rewarded its long standing employees in Ballymena with an awards ceremony held at nearby Galgorm Manor, to celebrate 25 and 40 years of service.
The awards ceremony took place on Friday 9 November and was attended by 40 staff and friends. There were 17 recipients of the Long Service Awards; 14 who have been with the Company for 25 years, and three who have reached the 40 year milestone. The staff were from a variety of roles, ranging from production operators to senior managers.
The awards, which are held annually in Ballymena, Dundee and Stoke, honour staff who have stayed with the Company for a considerable time. To mark the occasion staff received a Long Service certificate and gift vouchers.
Kathy Simpson, Personnel Manager at Michelin in Ballymena commented: “The Long Service Awards are an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of staff that have stayed with the Company for decades. We pride ourselves on being a business which looks after its employees, encouraging them to develop their careers within the Company. The fact that we hold these awards is testament to this commitment.”
