Sony has selected Michelin as official tyre technology partner for its Playstation game, Gran Turismo.
The French tyre maker will serve as the main tyre supplier for the in game FIA Gran Turismo Championships and the technical partner of tyre technology for Gran Turismo Sport. Michelin will also be featured in various forms with free downloadable content planned for the game by this October.

Combining this technology with real motorsports data will enable Polyphony to bring more tyre strategy into the game, and in the longer term, also to help more people understand the critical role that Michelin tyres play in optimizing vehicle performance.”
