Michelin launches new CrossClimate 2 SUV tyre
Michelin has launched its new CrossClimate 2 SUV tyre in Europe, which is now available in 40 dimensions from 17 to 20 inches.
The French tyre maker boasts this new all-season product is a leader for braking on snow, and on dry and wet ground, as well as for traction on snow.
The CrossClimate 2 SUV tyre benefits from an innovative combination of cutting-edge technologies such as the Michelin EverGrip technologies that contribute to optimise braking on dry, wet, or snow-covered ground.
A 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake) certified tyre, Michelin says it copes with drops in temperature and occasional snowfall.
Michelin claims that thanks to the MaxTouch Construction technology, the CrossClimate 2 SUV allows for driving an additional 5,000 kilometres on average, compared to premium competitor tyres, while maintaining a high level of safety, even when the tyre is at legal tread wear limit, and regardless of the weather conditions.
This extends the lifespan of the CrossClimate 2 SUV, meaning the tyres are changed less often thus saving the consumer money.
