ITIA asks for big retail member turnout at AGM

The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) is calling on all member retail outlets to attend its forthcoming Annual General Meeting and Dinner, which takes place in the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath on Saturday March 2.

ITIA president Kevin Farrell commented: “ I’m calling on all member retail oulets to attend and come along and have their say. That evening we will have our annual dinner with Noel Brett as Guest Speaker and Alan Shortt comedian for entertainment, followed by music.”

“The move to a Saturday night, in a central location, was called for by our retail members, so I hope they will support the night. “

He added: “Before the AGM we are holding two meetings at 2.00pm, one for Wholesalers and one for Retailers. These meetings will give each sector the opportunity to discuss issues affecting them specifically and gives them the opportunity to nominate their council representatives.”
