Historic victory as first female Moto3 win claimed on Dunlop Tyres

Maria Herrera became the first woman to win a Dunlop sponsored Moto3 championship last weekend when she claimed the Motorland Aragon round of the CEV (España de Velocidad Championship).

The Spanish 16 year old from Toldeo dominated the race leaving the men to fight behind for the remaining podium places.

Eight thousand fans watched the historic victory. Maria rides for Junior Team Estrella Galicia and previously finished 11^th  and 13^th in the Catalunyan races. She now lies third in the championship.
