Premium tyre manufacturer Hankook has been awarded two iF Design Awards for its animated product films Ventus S1 evo2 Motion Graphic Brochure and Eco Motion Graphic Brochure.

Both have been awarded the 2013 iF Design Award in the category “communication”. The motion graphic brochures were distinguished for their sophisticated design and creativity as well as the emotional ease with which complex technical matters are effortlessly communicated and explained to consumers. This marks the third time, following 2009 and 2011, that Hankook received the internationally recognised quality label for excellent design.

Hankook’s Ventus S1 evo2 Motion Graphic Brochure depicts a sports car, driving on the Ventus S1 evo2’s tread design. Demonstrating the tyre’s superior handling and braking characteristics, it allows the spectator to experience the dynamic sensation arising from the excellent and safe driving performance of the company’s ultra-high-performance tyre. The jury was particularly impressed by the futuristic and sporty design language of the online product brochure.

Also the Eco Motion Graphic Brochure which strikingly depicts the superior quality and environmental friendliness of the Hankook tyres Kinergy eco and Enfren eco captured the jury’s attention. Using a tyre made of paper, this motion graphic brochure emphasizes the low rolling resistance, high energy efficiency and excellent wet braking performance of Hankook’s eco-friendly products as well as the company’s efforts to protect the environment.
