Hankook Tire is launching its new Dynapro HPX all-season tyre, designed specifically for SUVs.
Hankook claims the new tyre provides refined handling, extra comfort and low noise throughout all seasons. It adds that with improved mileage performance, it can drive the longest distance among its SUV products.
The new Dynapro HPX will be globally available later in 2022 in various sizes ranging from 17- to 22-inch rims.
Sooil Lee, president and CEO at Hankook Tire & Technology said: “Hankook is committed to taking leadership in the market through expanding the OE portfolio for SUVs where Hankook already is equipping various flagship SUV models of leading carmakers such as Porsche Cayenne, BMW X3 M and X4 M, and Audi RS Q8.”
Hankook says a new compound that’s highly wear-resistant and suitable for all-season driving has been adopted, and the Dynapro HPX’s contact patch area has been expanded. In addition, the latest noise reduction technologies and optimisation of pitch sequence for suppressing certain frequency spectrum of tyre noise allow comfort and quietness while driving.
Extended shoulder block with optimised rigidity is applied on the Dynapro HPX. Its stable steering, excellent grip and reliable handling is assisted by 3D GripKontrol Sipe technology that minimises block movement while increasing traction on snow, according to Hankook.
