Hankook celebrates 10 years with BMW Driving Center

Hankook Tire is celebrating 10 consecutive years as the exclusive supplier of high-performance tyres for test-drive vehicles at the BMW Driving Center, operated by BMW Group Korea.

Since the opening of the BMW Driving Center in 2014, Hankook Tire has supplied tyres to all test-driving vehicles on the track and driving programs.

Vehicles on display at the BMW Driving Center’s showroom will also be equipped with Hankook tyres starting this year.

Tyres supplied to the BMW Driving Center include the iON evo AS SUV from the world’s first full line-up of electric vehicle tyre brand iON, Ventus S1 evo3 and Ventus S1 evo3 SUV from the flagship brand Ventus Premium Sports, a racing tyre optimised for circuit driving Ventus RS3, a premium sports tyre Ventus V12 evo2, and Winter i*cept evo3 X specially designed for SUV from the Winter i*cept premium line-up.

Starting with MINI in 2011, Hankook Tire has supplied original equipment tyres for many popular BMW models. The strong partnership has continued through the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 series; SUV models X1, X3, X5; and now the new flagship 7 Series.

The two companies took the partnership a step further in 2021 when Hankook began providing OE tyres for BMW’s high-performance M models – the X3 M and X4 M. In 2022, Hankook expanded its portfolio to include the i4, BMW’s first all-electric Gran Coupe.
