Goodyear takes first place in coveted evo tyre test

Goodyear is delighted to announce that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 has been ranked top in the coveted evo tyre test 2013.


The win is one of many for the popular, premium tyre including the Auto Express Best Product Award 2012 and 2013 and the Auto Express Tyre Test 2011 and 2012.

The tyre, which is designed to answer the most pressing needs of consumers of Ultra High Performance tyres with its ActiveBraking Technology, beat seven rivals to the title following a series of intensive tyre tests. The tyre size tested was a 225/40R18 and evo used a Mercedes A200 in disciplines such as wet and dry braking and handling as well as curved and straight aquaplaning to discover which tyre was best.

Out of the eight independent tests carried out on the tyre, Goodyear scored well across the board with evo commending the tyre in the subjective testing which is one of the most important tests for the magazine.
