Goodyear named title sponsor for 2025 ELMS 4 Hours of Silverstone
Goodyear has been named as the official title sponsor of the 2025 Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone, which marks the much-anticipated return of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) to the UK.
The race is set to take place on 14th September 2025, following a six-year hiatus from the calendar.
The 2025 ELMS season will feature six four-hour races in six different countries for the first time since 2021.
The Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone will replace the 4 Hours of Mugello as the penultimate round, with the season finale set to take place at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal the following month.
Earlier rounds take place at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Le Castellet, Imola and Spa-Francorchamps.
The Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone will mark a continuation of Goodyear’s successful partnership with ELMS.
Goodyear has a storied history in endurance racing, and in recent years has been the exclusive tyre supplier to the LMP2 category in ELMS since 2021. That role expanded at the start of the 2024 season to include the LMGT3 category, following its earlier role as the exclusive supplier to the LMGTE class from the 2020 season.
For the 2025 season, Goodyear continues as the exclusive tyre supplier for the LMP2 category in both ELMS and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and for all teams competing in the LMGT3 category of ELMS and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
Mathias Kipp, head of car racing, Goodyear EMEA said: “For fans at the track, Goodyear will bring them even closer to the action. For us, it is another opportunity to support drivers at all levels in their endurance racing careers—from young, future stars to the most skilled endurance racers—each of whom will benefit from Goodyear’s Eagle F1 race tires and expert trackside support.”
