Goodyear Farm Tires prominent at Tractor World

Malvern’s Tractor World extravaganza proved a haven for farmers and vintage enthusiasts with Goodyear Farm Tires close to their hearts.

The showpiece in Worcestershire attracted thousands of visitors over the two-day show, with a plethora of well-established vintage and classic tractors and machinery on display.

Many of the tractors in attendance carried Goodyear Farm Tires which remain a bedrock of the vintage tractor community. Renowned restorer, David Aylward displayed a 1949 Field Marshall Series 3 at the event.

“We bought the tractor as a package of bits but restored it and we specified Goodyears because a lot of Marshall Tractors at the time came out with Goodyear Farm Tires as original fit,” he said.  “If you want authenticity, it has to be Goodyear Farm Tires.”

Also exhibiting at the event was British Rubber Company, a supplier of Goodyear Farm Tires in the UK.

Mike Card of Yorkshire-based national distributor British Rubber Company, said: “It was great to be at the show. Everyone is so passionate and it’s great to meet people who are so committed to their vintage tractors.

“We distribute Goodyear Farm Tires right across the UK and we have a great relationship with them. They support us and we support them and we are really proud to be the exclusive UK distributor.

“The vintage side is such a good community to be part of. We know how much it means for people who are spending a lot of time and money to get the tractors back into the format they were when they came from the factory and it’s nice to help them achieve that.”

Natalie Dukes, marketing manager of Goodyear Farm Tires, added: “Visiting shows is a big part of our marketing activity and we were delighted to attend Tractor World. Seeing so many tractors carrying Goodyear Farm Tires and hearing so many owners speak so glowingly about the product is fantastic.”
