First Stop launches new webshop with Carryduff Tyres Belfast

First Stop has launched its new E-commerce website in Ireland. Carryduff Tyres, situated outside Belfast, has become the first dealer on the island or Ireland to be included on the new website.

The site was developed by First Stop and allows customers to search by registration number or tyre size. The customer gets a choice of brands and prices offered by First Stop Carryduff. Once the tyre choice is made they can then choose the fitting day with morning or afternoon time slots available.

The overall process is simple from a customer and a dealer perspective with mobile and email messaging triggered to confirm the purchase and the appointment time.

Shortly after it was launched, Carryduff had its first sale of two 235/65R17.

Robert Frazer, owner of First Stop Carryduff said: “We had our first customer in September. They booked the tyres online and when they came in for fitting it was very streamlined as we knew they were coming and had everything ready.

“As an extra bonus, the customer agreed to have a 4-wheel alignment completed on their car. We look forward to welcoming many more customers through this service.”

The new portal is hosted on firststop.co.uk and will also shortly be available on the dealer’s own website.

Frank White, First Stop retail business consultant Ireland commented: “We are delighted to launch Carryduff as the first dealer on the E-commerce site, this is an important step forward for the network.

“We are encouraging the rest of the First Stop network in Northern Ireland to join the platform and through 2021 this will be rolled out to the Republic of Ireland.”
