Falken OE on Subaru Crosstrek

Sumitomo Rubber Industries will supply its Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S all-season tyre as an OE-fitment option on the Subaru Crosstrek.

The new SUV will wear this high-performance Falken tyre in size 225/55R18 98V.

Sumitomo says the Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S provides all-around high performance to fulfil the needs of the latest Subaru Crosstrek, combining “outstanding steering stability with excellent fuel efficiency” on both dry roads and snow.

This all-season tyre takes advantage of Sumitomo’s simulation technology, which helped to develop an innovative new tread pattern that optimises the distribution of ribs as well as the form factor of lateral grooves to achieve “unmatched” roadability on snow, according to the brand.

At the same time, thanks to the adoption of an advanced new rubber compound, the Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S also achieves a significant reduction in rolling resistance while maintaining a high level of grip performance.
