Eight Pirelli Peformance Centres shortlisted for prestigious award

Eight Pirelli Peformance Centres have been shortlisted for this year’s prestigious PPC of the Year award.

Pirelli Performance Centres are a club of audited, high-quality, high-performance tyre dealerships, allowing Pirelli to direct owners of high performance cars in confidence. The annual award was inaugurated in 2007 to commemorate the efforts of the company’s PPC depots across the country. Benfleet Jet Wheel Tyre have won the prestigious accolade twice in its five-year existence and have been nominated as one of the eight finalists again this year.

Out of 88 PPC branches throughout UK and Ireland, eight PPC branches, including last year’s winner, Benfleet Jet Wheel Tyre, were shortlisted for the award after gaining platinum status in the latest Pirelli technical audit. The seven other nominees include BMTR from Birmingham, Central Tyre in Chester, Mill Tyres in Boston, North Eastern Tyre and Autocare in York, Stortford Performance Tyres in Bishop’s Stortford, and STS Tyre Pros that are based in both Huntingdon and Norwich.

Once shortlisted, a mystery shopper visits the dealership and scores each centre in areas including customer service, product knowledge and depot cleanliness and the one with the highest score wins the title of Pirelli Performance Centre of the Year.
