ECS used parts collection service off to a flyer

Eurolec Core Supply (ECS) has told the Tyre Trade Journal of the excellent start its new used parts collection service has had.

Launched last October at the 2024 Auto Trade EXPO in Dublin, the ‘ECS Fill & Collect’ initiative is a new service for workshops and motor factors across Ireland, which helps them reduce waste, while also putting money back in their pockets.

Through this service, ECS offers a free recycling bin to workshops and factors, which can be used to dispose of certain motor parts that are no longer needed. Almost 100 bins have been delivered so far around the country.

When full, ECS will collect and pay for the parts. Those required include: starter motors, alternators, diesel injectors and pumps, A/C compressors, brake calipers, turbos and EGR valves. ECS also buys engines, gear boxes and bulk surplus parts.

ECS says the service is not only an extra source of income for workshops and factors, but enables the reuse of parts for the remanufacturing industry in an environmentally friendly way.
