Dunlop tyres OE on Toyota bZ4X

Sumitomo Rubber Industries is supplying its high-performance Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 tyres to Toyota for original equipment fitment on its first all-electric car, the bZ4X.

The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 tyres will be equipped to the car in size 235/50R20 104V XL.

Sumitomo claims the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 takes full advantage of its advanced materials development technology, adopting a new compound that has been optimised to enable the bZ4X to maximise its electric driving range.

It adds that the tyre achieves noise reduction thanks to optimised lug grooves as well as new side profile specifications designed to reduce unevenness for improved aerodynamic properties.

On top of this, it says, the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 tyre also provides balanced high performance in terms of both wet grip and steering stability, making it an ideal tyre to support Toyota’s first all-electric car.
