Davanti signs first major sports sponsorship in Northern Ireland

Davanti Tyres has signed its first major sports sponsorship in Northern Ireland.

The global tyre brand has been unveiled as a club partner with Irish Premiership side Larne FC.

It will become the club’s sleeve sponsor for the 2020/21 campaign, as Larne set their sights on qualifying for Europe.

(L-R) Magowans Davanti Tyres brand manager Frankie Wells, Larne FC’s latest signing Andy Scott and Davanti Tyres sales director for UK and Ireland Sean Maddocks.

Davanti released its first tyres in 2015, since then the brand has built up an extensive network of dealers across Northern Ireland. Today the brand is well-known and respected within the worldwide automotive industry.

The tyre maker says it has seen huge growth globally over the past year, despite the issues caused by Covid-19.

Davanti has extended its distribution network to more than 60 countries across five continents.

Over the next 12 months, the brand says it plans to launch a new Ultra High Performance tyre, Protoura Sport, its all-season Alltoura offering, and an extension to the highly acclaimed Terratoura All-Terrain range.

Sean Maddocks, Davanti sales director UK and Ireland comments: “We recognise the work that Larne FC are doing to realise their ambitions both on the pitch and in the community.

“Northern Ireland is a really key market for us and we’re extremely proud of the loyal dealer network we’ve created.

“Larne’s commitment to building a successful football club while also using their platform to create opportunities for the wider community resonates with our core principle to support independent tyre retailers and garages.

“We believe our shared values will make Davanti’s partnership with Larne a great success.”
