The ContiPremiumContact 5 tyre has taken the honours in a summer tyre test, organised by the Russian specialist car magazine “Za Rulem”.

Altogether, the experts from Moscow tested 11 tyre models from European and Asian manufacturers, including both premium brands and low-cost competitors.

The driving tests were conducted on both dry and wet roads. Regarding the ContiPremiumContact 5, the editorial team concluded the following: “Good grip on all road surfaces, high speed in lane changes, high level of comfort.”

Tyres in the tested size 185/60 R 14 are suitable for a large number of smaller passenger cars manufactured in recent as well as earlier years.

In tests carried out by the international trade press in recent years, the ContiPremiumContact 5 took first place on a number of occasions. This high-volume tyre makes an impression due to short braking distances on dry and wet roads, high mileage performance, precise handling, comfortable driving characteristics, and low rolling resistance.
