Continental wins innovation award for UltraContact NXT

Continental’s UltraContact NXT recently won an innovation award at the 2023 Swiss Automotive Show in Friborg, Switzerland.

The UltraContact NXT is Continental’s most sustainable production tyre to date, and was named the winner in the ‘Sustainable Development/Environment’ category at the show.

With up to 65 per cent renewable, recycled and mass balance-certified materials, the new summer tyre combines a remarkably high share of sustainable materials with maximum safety and performance.

At the same time, all dimensions carry the highest possible rating in the EU tyre label (“A”) in rolling resistance, wet braking and exterior noise.

Continental started production of the tyre in July.
