Ultra-High Performance tyres are becoming the norm for consumers as rim sizes increase and manufacturers continue to squeeze as much as possible from their vehicles.
Davanti’s all-terrain tyre, the Terratoura recently travelled across the Mediterranean to the island of Cyprus to offer customers of local distributor Iacovos P. Constantinides Ltd. the full off-road experience.
Off-roading magazine, Land Rover Monthly, has named Davanti’s Terratoura all-terrain tyre in its top 10 tyres for 2019 – edging out some of the biggest names in the off-road market. Only six of the top 10 tyres were all-terrain.
Thanks to the evolution of cars and SUVs, ultra high performance tyres are no longer reserved for supercars and sports cars. Outside of compact city cars, increasingly family saloons and urban SUVs come with 17 inch+ wheel sizes as standard, putting them firmly in the category of UHP tyres.
Davanti Tyres returned to this year’s Carfest North at Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire, where visitors to the Davanti stand were able to explore the entire range of passenger car, van and all-terrain tyres.

Davanti Tyres returned to the Latin American and Caribbean Tyre Expo in Panama from June 26-28, and for the first time, the brand was able to bring its much-heralded all-terrain tyre, the ‘Terratoura’ to the event as a live product, opening the door for significant constructive conversations with distributors throughout the region.
