In a move to further support Continental Tyres expansive fleet business and more specifically its Conti360° Fleet Services, the company has announced the creation of two new independent departments to oversee the areas of Fleet Support and Truck Tyre Marketing across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
This is the first time such indicators have become available on truck tyres in Europe, and will allow operators to recognise more easily incorrect wheel alignment on trucks and trailers without the use of expensive electronic measuring systems.
In the future, tyre developers will not just have to consider low rolling resistance, high mileage, durability, retreadability and new pressure monitoring systems, but also enhanced safety and environmental factors.
To highlight Continental Tyres’ sponsorship of the UEFA EuroTM 2012 tournament, the company partnered with the Irish Independent to run a competition to bring two Irish footy fans to see the best teams in Europe in the final of the tournament.
Continental is an Official Sponsor and the exclusive tyre partner for UEFA EURO 2012TM, and will be equipping the team coaches with its HSR2 premium tyre for the safe and comfortable transport of players during the European Championships.
