Brityrex ready to host major tyre industry gathering in Manchester
Brityrex International is gearing up to play host to the largest gathering in the UK tyre calendar, at Manchester’s EventCity from 9-11 October.
The three-day show will bring together thousands of exhibitors, senior executives, industry bodies and visitors, with a common purpose of doing business and sharing information in a dedicated, trade-only environment.
As the bi-annual focal point of the UK tyre and equipment sector, the show’s principal sponsor, the NTDA, says the industry should take the opportunity to get involved:
“A visit to Brityrex is a must for anyone working in, or thinking of getting involved in the tyre industry. The show will be a major gathering point for the industry, especially with the impending legislation on tyre labelling and TPMS, which will be covered in detail through the free Tyretalk seminars. Along with dozens of exhibitors showing the latest in tyres and equipment, the NTDA annual dinner and TAFF Awards is the flagship event running alongside the exhibition,” says NTDA director Richard Edy.
The drawing power of the exhibition is however not confined to the UK. Dozens of exhibitors from fast-emerging markets, particularly China and India, will be on display, keen to build awareness of their products and secure UK distribution networks. The international flavour will be further enhanced by hundreds of overseas visitors representing tyre and equipment buyers from the global industry.
Chris Anthony, editor of Tyres & Accessories, media sponsor for the exhibition, commented: “With a new venue and new Tyretalk seminars in place, Tyres & Accessories is particularly looking forward to the forthcoming Brityrex. As official media sponsor for the 2012 exhibition Tyres & Accessories values this unique opportunity to spend three days with so many influential players in the market on home soil. With tyre labelling and TPMS virtually upon us, connecting with the market and facilitating the flow of information in our sector has never been more important.”
Visitors to the show will appreciate the easy access to the new venue at EventCity. Located next to the famous Trafford Centre, it enjoys direct access off the M60 motorway network together with excellent public transport links from airports and rail stations. Importantly, there is free onsite parking for 3,000 vehicles and the hotels and entertainment of Manchester city centre are a short taxi ride away.
A highly-visible Brityrex blimp, riding high above the venue, will ensure the location is easily identifiable and visitors can also take advantage of a free Wi-fi service in the exhibition hall.
Paul Farrant, managing director of Brityrex organiser, ECI International, comments:
“Brityrex is the UK’s only specialist tyre and equipment exhibition and a day in Manchester will be time very well spent meeting new suppliers and getting up to speed with the pressing issues of the day. It’s a low-cost, high-return business investment that we know can pay real dividends for everyone involved in the tyre trade.”
